About Myself:
I'm Cody Miller, and I currently work as a Union Editor in Los Angeles California. I was born in Ann Arbor Michigan, and lived there until I went to study film production at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester New York, from which I graduated in 2007 with a BFA in Film and Animation. My Minor was in Philosophy, and I primarily wrote about the philosophies of technology, vision, and imaging.
My interests are varied, but primarily include visual media such as Film, Television, Video Games, and Photography. I have been editing and making films since high school, and I enjoy photography with my 45 year old Konica SLR. I have been playing video games since I was very young, and find them fascinating as works of interactive media, and participate in what is called Speedrunning, in which the goal is to complete a game as fast as possible. I have several world records, and run HighSpeedHalo.net, which presents speedruns for the Halo series.
I am a skydiver, and began in September 2005, having since logged about 500 jumps. It has taught me a lot about freedom, responsibility, and safety. Karaoke is also something I enjoy, however finding a place here in LA to rival Good Time Charlie's in Ann Arbor has been quite a challenge.
